The dark forest road

If you want to go deeeep this year and shift your awareness like never before....

𖠰 LET YOURSELF BE LED DOWN A DARK FOREST ROAD 𖠰

The place where you hear more than you see. Snow crunches under your feet. The sound of your breathing fills your ears. Your feet move to the soft beat of your heart.

An invitation with directions to this dark forest road was seeded in your mind in a time before time.

Vulnerability and disorientation come on the unlit path. In this moment, as the wind howls and the little gremlin eyes glow in the brush, a choice is yours. To see this as a place of torture and isolation, and then to just want to run.

Or....

... to open yourself to it as a miracle moment, without rushing... and even when it's frightening.

The choice to see only fear and despair on the dark forest road is made unconsciously by millions -- we've all been there in our deepest sleep! It's how Dante to starts out The Divine Comedy: "Midway along the journey of life I woke to find myself in a dark wood... How hard it is to tell what it was like, this wood of wilderness, savage and stubborn (the thought of it brings back all my old fears), a bitter place! Death could scarce be bitterer."

BUT... If you choose instead to linger and welcome the experience for what it offers you, I promise you'll find a flickering campfire that you lit for yourself in a time more ancient than eternity.🔥 The spark that dispels the darkness. YOUR SPARK.

Bring all your dark winter beasties to the light of your fire. 👹

The more the merrier. Fangs and claws, stinky breath and snarls. Pull them from their dark caves and dance with them. This is the party you want going on inside.

It's crazy counter-intuitive, but when we venture into our own shadowlands, welcoming those parts of ourselves that we don't like to look upon... their hold on us diminishes. And we stop using them to make ourselves and others suffer.

Your eyes adjust to the dark, your tolerance for the gremlins expands, and in your presence the fire grows. It's all less frightening now. Less serious, more light, and -- dare I say it -- oddly fun!

I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.
— Friederich Nietzsche, Thus Spoke Zarathustra

This is part of your journey because you long to see more Truth than most. AND you have the tenacity to walk into fear and darkness because deep down, you know the reward will be worth the journey.
